The development of digital technologies in packaging (mainly: primary, secondary, tertiary packaging; labels, inserts, POS advertising, signs and visual displays) fosters reflection on the global organization of the graphic chain and the interoperability of tools: from the first stages of creation, through production and traceability, up to the end of the packaging life-cycle.
This “dematerialization” of the graphic chain has an impact in terms of improving productivity, organization, investment and training, cost reduction, relations between the specifiers, service providers and suppliers.
